Coordination
To build coordination of the mind and body sessions take the client through various exercises on different pieces of equipment. This creates new challenges for the mind to master and the body to achieve. The two work together to perform the Teaser on the Reformer.
Some exercises might be specific to a certain muscle or muscle group while others strengthen the entire body, but the Powerhouse is always working—which is why Pilates has become so popular for its waist-whittling results.
Coordinating breath and movement ensures that the body functions properly, safely, and efficiently. Increasing lung capacity and circulation, which help improve overall health and assist the body in flushing out toxins.
