Bio

Love at first session, Marie has been practicing Pilates since 1998 when she first tried it. Her enthusiasm for the still relatively unknown exercise regime led her to do an apprenticeship and start teaching in Westwood, CA.  However, she felt there was still more to learn and she researched various certification programs until she found Jill Cassady, a master instructor asked by Pilates guru Romana Kryzanowska to certify teachers in Los Angeles. Training one on one with Cassady for a span of three years, Marie expanded her knowledge and expertise in classical Pilates.

Known for her inspiring teaching style, Marie has been sought out by Olympic ice skaters, supermodels, busy moms and professionals with varying fitness levels to stay in shape, recondition their bodies, and push their Pilates practice to new levels. Her expertise has lead her to teach world-wide, and she has just returned to Los Angeles from teaching in Paris, France and Lugano, Switzerland.

In addition to her private clientele, Marie has teamed up with Jill Cassady and Nancy Premisberger to teach one of the most respected teacher certification courses.
